A warm welcome to visitors to the 17^th Arvinis wine fair!

We are delighted to announce the 17^th annual Arvinis wine fair. This has become into a must-visit event for winelovers in French-speaking Switzerland. It brings together people who are interested in and know their wines, exhibitors who are well known, winemakers, and, each year, the new vintage. Winemakers were faced in 2011 with a complicated year for growers: a summer-like spring, June remarkable for its unpleasant weather and a very dry autumn! Our exhibitors were able to rise above this atypical weather pattern and look forward to presenting to you, in the lively ambience of the CFF Halles, the wines they have created from this demanding vintage.

The guest of honour at Arvinis this year is Swiss Wine Promotion, "Les vins suisses". This promotional arm of the Swiss wine industry will be presenting some of Switzerland’s least-known wine grapes. Rèze, Completer, Mara, Lafnetscha and Plant Robert are just some of the little-known specialties that you will be able to sample in Morges from 18 to 23 April 2012.
